Anya was origannly called Aud before she became a vengance demon. Then she came to sunnydale and became human again, then she fell in love with Xander, he proposed and she accepted. Then he said he couldnt marry her and she turned back to vengance. Buffy recently tried to kill her but did not succeed. Then Anya was human again and Xander still wanted her but she couldnt deal with it.
